I'm making a trip to Syracuse this weekend for the Syarcuse/Pittsburgh game! Hopefully I can get some cool shots down there!

I keep forgetting to take my camera to campus with me. I'll go in a little bit to scout around and get some shots, though. Been a little busy focusing on school and communicating with my girlfriend before she left for Peace Corps yesterday (27 months of slow communication long distance with occasional visits now...woot). Today and tomorrow are more relaxed, though.
I might see if I can get some pictures on Saturday while we demolish a wall in Jerry's shop (BAMF) that will fit the challenge.

Mid 40s and sunny here. I am actually kind of hoping for a few clouds Saturday evening.

Went and got some building shots...nothing really stuck out to me on campus...most of our buildings are either really cool in person or don't have the right lighting this time of year because the front faces north and the sun is too far south. Oh well. I wish I had my camera when I was in Woodland on Monday. They have the Yolo County Administrative services there and that is one cool building! It's only 13-ish miles north of me, so I could drive there this weekend, we'll see.

And very nice shot, Derek! Great lighting and I really like the stars. :)

    Fufufufufufufufuuuuuuuuuuuuu........

Had a great idea to use one location to get two different shots... once I've been wanting for a while, and kill two birds with one stone to get one for the thread.

Double-checked the spot this morning... PERFECT!

10 miles later, I hear a report on the radio that there's a 25 acre fire across the valley from "my spot".
    Damn.
By 10am, the fire was around 2,000 acres and the entire area I was planning for the shoot is packed with smoke.

If I can't get the shot tomorrow, the timing won't work out and it'll be months before I can try again.

And I forgot to take the camera to work today to get the "Backup" shot.

Shot this gem yesterday afternoon/evening at my work. Its a casita from our on-site residence club. I really like how the shadows came out!
