What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

and it isn't cheap to get all the stuff yourself. But my dad and i built two so it made more sense to just do it ourselves and was cheaper that way. He has one in his bed of his 2nd gen. They are great.

 

Plenty of members have the exact same bc recessed in that location. Just saying that it can be done

I mean they are 315/75r16s..so not as big as a 35x12.5r15..but you'll still rub a lot if you do any offroading.

if not..thats cool.

 

It will rub. That's exactly what's on my truck right now (wheels are even the same offset) and it rubs a little at full lock. Otherwise it's fine on the road, but don't even think of doing any real off-roading with it without tubbing.


Also, look at his first pic. Tread's almost gone on those ATs.

Yeah I know it will flexing, I'm mainly worried about the road not rubbing
I have a 11 week old son and not enough time to even wheel so it will come sooner or later
Btw these will going on my 05 4runner when it gets lifted
I have to just cut that pinch weld off in the front mainly

Not on the speed bump no but the rears definitely rub when flexed out
