Electrical tape is preferred - has a smoother feel to it. Hell I have multiple colors of both. My took box is a treasure chest!! I used to have a big ass clear dildo in there too. If you talk to the guy who is an electrician for a living, he could hook you up with more electrical tape and screws designed for metal, self drilling, self tapping, various bores. I regularly use up rolls of black electrical tape and when I get more, I get 10 packs at a time. I also come across phase tape in red, blue, white, green, brown, orange, yellow, and gray.

BTW, from personal experience, it is not that challenging to use a little electrical tape to very well tie somebody up.
