    I didn't use hangers , I formed the concrete wall as a fin wall so the timbers sit directly on a 4" ledge

    I added another row in the centre of span after I took the pic , the two outermost timbers are connected to the concrete on either end with a seismic hold down attached to a piece of 7/8" galv redi rod that was cast into the concrete when I poured it

    The two inner timbers are essentially just sitting on the concrete fin ledge so the blocking is holding their spacing and keeping them from rotating or twisting when they dry out more in the summer

    Much clearer..so the ends can not go anywhere...all the blocking you added was just cheap insurance...looks good man..what's going on top of it?

    Yeah the timbers are captured on the ends , can't really go sideways due to the hold downs

    Decking is probably going to be clear 2x6 Western Red Cedar
