    Still learning here.

    Does the cracking exhaust manifold problem only apply to 95-2000 2.7s? 2001 and up models have fixed this?

    apparently it isnt an issue like said above check www.car-part.com to look for a used exhaust header to save some coin

    The old 1980's 20R's and 22R's also did it. The 20R's were horrendus for it. Just about any cast manifold is going to crack after so many heat cycles and years of that. Some get updated and fixed properly years down the road,,and sometimes they never do,,even with updated manifolds. My 99 has a very small barely leaking crack right at the conjunction of manifold runners. A lot of heat and pressure from gasses getting put in one spot there, while the rest of the manifold is relatively cooler while running.
