    I had problems twice with the harness that I bought. Both times the harness wire was ripped out of the plug upon receipt. I pretty much just gave up on doing this. I also realized that I really like to have the backup image in the rear view mirror vs. looking down at a screen. Keep the head on a level swivel. To each their own.

    DCLB Black 4WD Illumination dial from 4runner, Flyzeyes LED. Hardwire GPS and Valentine1 with BlendMount mirror mount, TRD shift knob, tube steps, swapped out for signal lamp mirrors. Garmin Eco-Route HD for Bluetooth ODBII Diagnostics, 2014 Entune Plus w Navigation, Leer 100XL dome light wired to dome circuit, pop&lock tailgate and cap locks.
    I've corrected this on mine.

    1st option: If you trim the tab of the connector that comes with the ebay kit with a razor it WILL fit in the plug on the 2014 HU. The 2014 HU video plug has more pins. But the pins actually in use are the top left and bottom left (4 pins) on the receptacle on the back of either radio. So the connector you have, if modified as above and plugged in so it sits in all the way to the LEFT, will work. I've done this.

    2nd: I ordered the correct connector from Toyota ($6.00) and swapped the wires into this one. All this achieved was allowing the connector lock in place. I have the part number at home and can forward later. Using a jeweler's screw driver I removed the pins from the provided ebay kit plug and swapped them into my new connector.

    Note: You will NOT get the guidelines to show up. They are part of the mirror on 2013's and either not present or part of the camera on 2014s.

    I believe this update is mainly for the apps. I think the update we were talking about is the 3.1.0 entune update. Even after the above pictured update, our systems show version 2.1. Anyway, I tried the 3.1 update this AM and the system wouldn't even recognize it. Unless I've no idea what I'm doing, our system is different than the other previous radio.

    It'll say jbl on the plate of your radio and it comes with a subwoofer as well

    You need an entune account. Find a vin number off a 2014 taco with the entune radio, usually a TRD taco. Use the vin to setup entune on their website and then you'll be able to use it

    How did you get the rearview camera display on your radio? I have a 2014 radio in my 2012 but the plug adapter I got off ebay for for when I had my 13 radio worked fine but the plug is different now on the 2014 radio and won't work.
