I rotate my tires regularly. Today I took off the lug nuts and I can't pull the tire off. Help? Is this common? Is there something wrong with the axle or is their a trick.

Kick it. Mine have been stuck on. There is a little lip the rim gets stuck on around the hub. Before putting back on put some anti-seize on that lip for next time.

    Does the wheel spin?

If so, try hitting the sidewall a little with a rubber mallet.

Good kick to the sidewall of your tire won't hurt it. Sometimes they really stick. Happens on a lot of cars. Just make sure a good kick won't knock it off your jack or jack stands. Whatever you have it up on.

As others have said you will probably need to beat on it a little bit more. Just wait until you have a rotor that wont come off. It took me 10 minutes with a dead blow hammer to get one of my rotors off.

The OEM rotors have jacking holes tapped into them that work great for removing them. Same with the rear drums.

Your parking brake on? Not spinning shouldn't affect the wheel coming off regardless.

X2 like I said put some anti-seize around that lip around the hub. You should be good to go for next time.

But when you dont have the correct size bolt on hand you got to do what you got to do. Now that approach doesn't work with the rear drums. Good think I was replacing the rotors :)

Haha, I know how that goes! For the Tacoma, I think someone on here said the skid plate bolt is the same thread.
