    I already ordered the famous fab one. It won't need a ground since it's already attached to the bed frame. And the coax can come out from behind the tail light.

    I don't know what the actual name of it is. There's a metal piece right by the tailgate with 2 bolts in it. And this is sufficient for the ground according to everything I've read on here

    It's faster. That's how it got it's name. Lol and clean instal dude.

    Here's mine ........... I get to use my tool box for extra cable hiding. I rolled the excess up, ziptied it then pulled it slightly tight back under the tool box. So in this pic you can see that there is excess cable but you can't see it at all now and I just ran the ground inside the railing

    Yeah I know what u talkin about now. And I don't want to discredit anyone but I'd check and make sure that's a good ground. It's always best to check yourself. You got a meter? If so then the most sure way to check a ground spot it take it to the negative on the battery. Get a piece of wire long enough to reach the battery and the tailgate, turn the meter to ohms, put one end of the wire on the negative battery terminal, the other end on your meter lead, and the other meter lead on the spot you wanna check. The meter should ring and read some form of resistance. If that doesn't occur then it's not a sufficient ground*

    On my truck on the right side thats a good ground because I checked with my multimeter.

    10 might work. We will find out when you go to tune it. Adam just get a disconnect. Only fancy way I see to have a legit rotating plate is to build a mounting plate with some kind of ball joint on it or a screw with no threads so it could spin easy and make a seperate mounting plate for the antenna then put them together and use either a ball bearing with a spring behind it like a socket wrench has on it or use a coterpin to hold it in place.

    Or you could use 2 short pieces of pipe between the mounting plate and antenna plate and drill two holes in both, have one pipe sleeve inside the other one and use a pin to keep them from rotating. How's that for some ideas?

    And I work hard to get some wire so fuck you Yankee!! But I do have spools of stuff ........
