Ok all so I need some opinions from you guys, about a week ago I went out to leave for work and was surprised to see some asshole decided to side swipe my truck and of course they didn't leave a note, so here I am with my truck with a very noticeable dent on my driver door, I went and got some quotes and there wanting about 600-800$, me being a poor college student thats pretty much out of my budget but if I saved up it could be done, so what I'm asking is what you guys would do, I'm thinking of just saying screw it but its all I can see on my truck anymore, I just need some advice. Any other options are greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance!! :D

Leave it alone, being a college student I would think you have bigger fish to fry.

Me, personally, I wouldn't care. I have larger dents than that which I didn't do myself. However, given that yours was a hit and run, every time I would look at it would piss me off, but over time, I wouldn't care or even notice at some point. That much money for repair wouldn't be worth it to me for something so small.

This is the exact reason I keep my deductibles low. I have a $250 collision deductible, it does cost more each month though. To each is their own. Like others said if you are in college I wouldnt worry about and keep working on surviving and graduating.

I would think you could afford a lower deductible dude....the lower the better. My deductible is at $500 and scares me out of trying dumb college student/teenage shit...

Me being a perfectionist...would fix it but i'd let it eat at me for many months while i set money aside to throw at it, and i'd pay for it myself so that it wouldn't be as likely to show up on carfax.

Have a kit lying around but its hard to use....takes so much effort...

It also depends what attachment you can use as to where it is on the vehicle and how you can get to it to beat/pull it out

    Its up to you. :)

Looks like you could do that and take care of most of the dent, might have some cracks in the paint, but that's what I would do.

The body shop i apprenticed at had a PDR guy come and do a few of the vehicles and it usually turned out good, but sometimes the paint would crack when he'd push out the dent.

Youtube is your friend for that. The videos with bikini girls are much more informative than others.

Looks like the doorsill is damaged as well. Probably accounts for most of the $800, and you can't do PDR on that.
