lighting and thunder :dancingbacon: and I just recently put my lift on so I still have the shocks in the bed of the truck so if lighting and thunder don't work I'll grab one of those and start swinging. Also a maglite. I'm in Germany at the moment when I get stateside I'll have my 9mm again and a baseball bat with glove. The glove is to make it appear as if I really am going to play some ball, had a cop question the crap out of me when he pulled me over for window tint in an old car for having just a baseball bat on the backseat. Since adding the glove no questions asked when being pulled over.

The 2011 Vancouver Stanley Cup riot was a public disturbance that broke out in the downtown core of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. The riots happened immediately after the conclusion of the Boston Bruins' win over the Vancouver Canucks in game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals, which won the Stanley Cup for Boston. At least 140 people were reported as injured during the incident, one critically; at least four people were stabbed, nine police officers were injured, and 101 people were arrested that night, with 16 further arrests following the event.[3][5]

You have homicide too. Last year 554 people were murdered in Canada. Sure, we have cities with more homicides than that (Chicago had 415), but our overall rate is quite low at 4.5 per 100,000 vs your 1.6 per 100,000. The biggest difference is we have a serious gang problem that you don't have. Can we send them up there to even it out a little?

4 stabbings and no deaths. I bet most large cities have more stabbings on a normal night.

The worst offenders got convicted with 350 people going to trial.

I'm not really sure how throwing a bunch of guns into the mix would help... Let's see your hand gun with a 10 round limit deal with the thousands of people.

You don't need to shoot a gun to use it effectively against people. Most of the time all you need to do is let be known that you'e carrying and that's a deterrent enough.

It's only ten rounds in a few states. And you can have as many ten round magazines as you want/need.

But Canada isn't a state. There is a 10 round limit on all handguns in Canada and you can't have them anywhere but at a range or your home.

I agree with that but this situation is not the time to be escalating things. Your not dealing with one person you are surrounded by thousands of people. If someone sees you pull a gun they don't know your intentions and who knows what they will do. They could think your the next mass shooter for all they know.

It wasn't a violent riot like L.A. was it was just people smashing shit up. They weren't beating people to death like that trucker that got pulled out of his car.
