Just heard that Jim Johnson, the defensive coordinator of the Phila Eagles passed away from cancer. For those of you who don't follow the Eagles, he had taken a leave due to his illness. I don't know that anyone expected him to go this quickly. R.I.P. Jim.

Its a shame to see this come so quickly, although he did'nt look so healthy at the mini camp in May. He will be certainly missed by friends family and fans alike.

    Still brand new.
Not originally from Philly so not an Eagles fan but I had a lot of respect for this guy and what he has down for that organization. Their offense has been up and down for many years but his defense has been one of the most consistent in the league for a long time.

Tragic news, he was too young. Been a tough year for Philly favorites.

Damn good coach...As a cowboys fan I would hate to see the two division games every year just because I knew his blitz packages would be coming all game long...RIP

RIP Jim, I hated the blitz (Redskins fan), but liked the ambition of the guy. :) He was a genius, and will be remembered.
