Yup. I never installed the shock extenders when I put the AAL in, so they died pretty quickly.

Clean the exposed threads really well and PB Blaster the shit out of them a few days before the de-install and you might get lucky. The problem I had was, you need to hold the top of the stem with a small wrench to keep the stem from spinning with the nut. But, at some point, the nut has to go over that part so you can't keep the wrench on it. If I dicked with it enough, I'm sure I could have gotten them off but I was fed up and they were junk anyways so the sawzall made an appearance

Jason if your rears are shit just pull the boot down grab with some visegrips and you should be able to loosen the nut on top. If that doesnt work for you cut the nut and peel it away.

Wheelers sells their Superbumps which I believe are taller than stock. There are some other higher performance ones but they're expensive as hell. Or, if you feel like you'll be chucking your truck off a ramp, you could always go with hydro bump stops :)

Looks like those bumps stops compress to the same height as the stock ones. I see others come with a mounting plate which seem to be the expensive ones. Maybe zip ties and hockey pucks are in my future lol

I think this rear bumper might be more work with the swingout and everything, still i am sure we (he, i dont weld) will get it done even if we have to work all night, which cam is known to do that lol.

Ya i am psyched, his work is pretty impressive, especially the design aspect.

I think a leaf will need to go back in my leaf pack, anyone have some new extended u-bolts kicking around?

Sounds like a plan! A hockey puck as a bump stop spacer would do nicely :)

    Psh!
Why stop there? Ghetto Body Lift Mod!
I don't think I can count people I knew (myself included) who had the ol' Hockey Puck Body Lift in high school. Not without taking my shoes off, at least.

I think I know this truck. The guy is a painting contractor: notice the ladders and the other truck with racks in the pictures? Probably beat and I'm certain that the interior is destroyed. I would guess that regular maintenance has not been a priority either.

Maybe a decent project truck, but otherwise, caveat emptor.

I don't know if I even want to say it but boy was that a lackluster performance from the Pats today. :(
