Here's mine. This building is the Social Sciences building at UC Davis, but we call it the Death Star because it's such a confusing place to walk around in and has really weird architecture. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I've heard that they designed it this way for the social science building because it forces people to be social to find their destination. It doesn't help that the building map is in the middle of the building! I'll add some other photos to the official photo thread that show more of the building, but this is my favorite, I think...it was hard to choose.

Have to be social to find their destination, and then don't and are really late all the time haha

Haha, seriously. After the first time going to a room you kinda figure it out, so if you know you have to find a class on the inside, you just leave like 15 minutes early. Luckily the big lecture hall is on the outside so it's super easy to find.

Here's my submission for this week's challenge. Was heading home today and saw this beach house out the corner of my eye on a side street.

Check out the white concrete area below the big "C" letters. I know the picture is supposed to be taken the week of the challenge. I didn't have the chance to get over to take a shot of this building this week though. I just wanted to show the forum and get input on the structure. It was built before WWII I think. It is a Coal Company structure but I'm not sure exactly what the building was used for.

I was able to get some really cool architectural shots today on Syracuse Campus. I'm submitting this one just because I like this building the best. Uploaded them quick on my iPad. I'd like to mess around with the editing on some. Not much time left fellas!!
