Yeah, no 3rd gen came with 17's. 4th gens did, but the 3rds only got 16's and 15's.

I agree. This thread is dying if not dead already.

Yeah we need to bring it back. Might be running some 30" tires for a bit. Found a killer deal on some tacoma take off 245/75/16 Dunlop tires and wheels and might run them for a bit before swapping the tires to my Fiance's Jeep. Pics will be posted later.

Ugh, yeah, but it quickly got derailed. My fiance was on board at first, but my bonus was a bit less than I was expecting and she put the stop on it. I had a line on a 87, 5 speed, 22RE in running condition and I could have gotten it for around $6-700, but she put her foot down. Then when she realized how much I wanted to get it, she said she was ok with it and that night the guy sold it. I was super pissed, but o well, there is nothing I can do about it now.

So we've decided to talk about it around summer time when she is out of school and working. That way we will have extra money and won't have to have money be so tight. I'm thinking of picking up a welder and starting to work on some fab skills. Might get some cheap 33's for wheeling and keep my lift for now. Build some bumpers and I could always sell them when it's the right time for a 1st gen.

Haha, I make myself want to be single...

It's the smartest decision for us, but not the one I want obviously. She definitely has put up with A LOT of my crap so I appreciate that.

That's what I can't wait for. My salary pays the bills and a tiny tiny bit of extra money, but when she starts working it will be awesome. We'll pay off the debt then it's savings and fun money.

I mean, if I was single, I would be rolling around in a SAS 1st gen for sure. Would have never even thought to buy a 3rd gen and probably have a small pick up or commuter car. Someday I'll have my 1st gen and all hell will break loose modding wise (within my budget of course).

Hahahaha, true, but waking up to my daughter and Fiance everyday makes it all worth it. Even if I had to drive a Geo.

Got my 30's on and they aren't horrible. Ended up getting some Dunlop's and the star 1st gen Tacoma wheels for $150 with tons of tread left. Might rock these for around town and pick up a set of cheap mudders for wheeling. Oh yeah, bought my fourth set of Tundra/Sequoia wheels that may or may not make it on my 4runner.
