Is that typical of insurance in NJ? Or just the company you have?

 

It all depends on the circumstances and record... and he's in NY

 

I forgot about that. I figured the rates would just increase a lot. Usually what happens here unless you're really accident prone.

NJ insurance dropped me because I drove like a dick head when I was a teenager and got some tickets. My Ins. was like almost 4k a year till this year I finally got a reprieve.

 

I did too when I was younger. Got away with it most of the time. Then I picked up a shiny red sports car. Then it seemed I was getting tickets just for starting the engine.

Hopefully they don't give BGR a hard time because it happened offroad.

 

I think I got my last ticket when I was 19 maybe? Only had one speeding ticket in my life in NY, then a careless in NJ. All others weren't moving violations. And that's with having a bimmer, a 300zx and two motorcycles.

 

I had an 02 4runner with a 5vz and a blown headgasket. Still pushed 95 easily running on 5 cyl.

 

I think I just got really lucky to be honest. It's nice having the Taco now because i really have to force it to make it do 90 unlike the bimmer/bikes.

Nah, N/A coupe with t-tops. It was awesome when I was 18 and wanted to get bitches. Too bad I couldn't afford full coverage at the time and it was a total loss minus what I was able to part out. Bought it for like $4k and recouped maybe $1500.

I'm not going to say why I wouldn't post the story up, but I sure as hell wouldn't try to claim the damage with insurance now that the entire story is written down by the first person owner.
