    I don't think it looks bad with the tire gate but I think it looks cleaner without it. However, the practical benefits outweigh the cosmetic factors IMO.

    Yeah always a comprise...I am taking the swingout over to the fab shop tomorrow to have it fixed...depending on how much I may just build a new full length one for some jerry cans too.

    Believe me I know. .. You've been through 4 different bumpers! I've been through 2 different sets. At some point you just got to stop and put the money toward something else. I like your current step up. Jerry cans would be nice for a trip to moab.

    Yeah but my plan is to build it myself.... Basically where my current tire carrier is bent I will need to cut it off and build it back with some tubing and a new plate for the rim.. so if I'm already going to do that much work I may as well build another...

    And I'm getting ready to start planning a 2015 trip out west... gonna want that Jerry can...
