I think that is over on T4R in the 4Runner that left the cam car in the dust.

He pretty-much sets the standards for what a 4Runner can do on the track.

Haha, it's in hibernation right now, much like Eric's. I need to rebuild my coilovers, lbj's and tie rods, then I'm all caught up on maintenance. Then I will focus on either modding or saving for a 1st gen. I'm hoping to find some $100 33's or 34's and just use those for wheeling. That would be ideal because driving to work everyday on 33's got real old and I couldn't use a MT. Things might happen especially if I get a welder. Then skids and a front bumper will soon follow.

I trust Eric to put 35's on eventually. You on the other hand, tend to make decisions that make sense, so your fate is questionable.

Other than that nothing new for me on ze runner. Just some UBJs for the LRs. One 15K and they are done. Not happy about that but whatever lol

So if you could do it again, what Upper Control Arms would you go with?

I would honestly go with either a icon or TC uniball. My big thing was salt though but at this point I would rather change uniball once a year than have possible ball joint failure. Plus I wheel a lot harder than I was anticipating so I might sell them and get sown icons maybe.

smkd13, let me know if you sell your LR's. I've been wanting some UCA's for a while.

Ideally I'd like to do 295's since they will require less cutting and are a 34, but I think I'll wait out for a MT. Might as well get a MT, if they are wheeling only.

Don't get shitty highway terrains for your wheeling only set. Don't stick to one size either. With size variations per tire and per maker, it really doesn't matter all that much.

anyone know of the top of their head if my 17' Sport rims from my Tacoma would fit on my '99 4runner? Are '99 runners 6 lug/5.5 as well?
