I use my turn signals in many situations.
    Turning
    Changing lanes
    pulling over
notifying others that someone is turning ahead of me
    pulling into parking spaces

Not trying to be combative but that shit irritates me to no end. If you aren't turning don't signal that you are. Brake lights communicate slowing, no need to signal what the person in front of you is doing.

All the time. I'll even catch myself signaling into my own driveway...time for a beer.

A lot of fl drivers don't use them and pisses me off. What's just as bad is people changing lanes in front of you with out even looking and having to lay on the horn to wake their ass up so they don't hit you.

Always, except maybe literally on the first turn out of my court when I can clearly see that there is no one else coming down the road (it's a very quiet street, too).

Around here it's BMW and Lexus drivers that don't seem to have the mental capacity to use them. Or maybe turn signals are optional on those cars and they didn't get them?!? Freaking self-absorbed morons...

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I'm using my hazards more often. Even though Idiots have been staring at the rear of my truck for the last 5 miles, after I signal right and slow to enter into a driveway I may put my hazards on just to burn Peoples retinas that little bit extra. It's part of my "value added" service.

I didn't used to do this, and I will be honest, I only do this here in Alabama. I first noticed it when I moved here. I was told that it is common practice, and I have honestly seen it used a lot, though only on two lane highways. On the two lane highways here some of the speed limits are pretty high, and there are numerous places that people can turn. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving a little extra warning to those behind you as to why you are slowing down. There are many hills and curves and sometimes you can come around a curve right before a turn, and someone is getting ready to make their turn. If the car behind them is going slow for the lead car's turn, the person coming around the curve or over the hill, may not realize how slow you are going. Turn signals draw attention. I guess it is just the way many people do it around this state. I would rather have a turn signal on warning those behind me of someone turning, than to just slow down. I consider it a courtesy thing.

I think I get the basic thought behind it. It's a bit hilly and there are pretty abrupt altitude changes and switchbacks on two lane roads around here. It really gets to me when four cars in front of me have their signal on, and three of them continue on strait. Seems to me brake lights are enough and turn signals when you are not turning in unjustifiable.

If you don't use your turn signals, I can be annoyed at times.

If you toss cigarette butts out the window while driving, you should have your driving privileges removed...and be doomed to a slow agonizing death and sentenced to eternity in Hell.

most times. if no one is really around i wont. (like late at night)

and OP i have noticed the same thing thru most of OH they never use the damn thing.

also in TN if no one is within like 50 feet of you you legally don’t have to use it, when changing lanes and you are suppose to signal within 50’ of turning. if it a nice courtesy
Thing to use it farther a way? ya maybe but legally you don’t have to.

If no one is around, I sometimes don't want to waste my turn signal bulbs or flasher part haha, idk. If a tree falls in the woods, and nobody is around, does it make a sound kinda thing here..

I use mine when ever I'm turning or changing lanes (including merging).

That said, I NEVER trust another's turn signal enough to pull out in front of them.

DMV rules don't allow for a number to replace a letter or a letter to replace a number.
If they thought that BOS5 meant "BOSS" it would have been rejected.

Stupid rule, because they'll let you have "LUV U 2", but I guess they're worried that cops will misread it.

If the person ahead of you is making a left turn, that turn signal could be enough to keep an idiot from attempting to pass you (on the left) and hit the person making the turn.
