I posted this on my Facebook page..

My thoughts on Richard Sherman. I agree with Ed Werder from ESPN who also interviewed Sherman after the game. "I don't understand media criticism of @RSherman_25 for giving the opinion for which he was asked. Prefer that to players who don't cooperate" Do we really like all these bland ridiculous fake interviews with athletes? I've always liked Werder.

"If you even dream of beating me you better wake up and apologize"

"I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was"

"To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you're not, pretend you are"

    ~Muhammad Ali

I don't think Ali is asking Sonny if he's ok. I believe he's telling him that he's the greatest and to get up. We love Ali don't we? Richard Sherman got a 3.9 at Stanford and just missed being his class valedictorian in HS. I think everything he does is calculated and passionate. He doesn't swear and he helps a ton in the community. In my opinion he's making sure the spotlight is directly on him so it won't be on his very inexperienced, young team mates who will be playing in the biggest game of their life. He can handle the pressure.

Before anyone says it, Ali talked long before he was the champ. Sherman is the best Cornerback in the world. We'll find out about his team in two weeks.

hahah. I'm not going to disagree. I think what would make Sherman most mad is just ignoring him. Makes you really like guys like Lynch. Such a bad ass.

Ali was confident... Not in a prickish way. You will never distinguish the difference. That's like comparing the greatest Taco Bell combo to the greatest fillet mignon. I appreciate the comparison, but not even in the same league. I get what the Seahawks fans get from it, but the fact they embrace the douchery if any other team had him and he wasn't on your team, and he was named Furman and played for Tampa Bay or the Titans... You yourself would look at him and say, he plays well, but WOW, was an egocentric dickbag.

Lynch is a beast... He really should have more highlight than Dick Sherman. Even when he was born, he came out, and his parents were like "he looks like a Dick to me... Richard it is..."

Don't speak for all the seahawks fans. That's like me saying all the 49ers fans are cheaters and cry babies. I think Sherman talks out of his ass and does not represent the team very well at all at times. Yes I'm glad he plays for us because he's good. Doesn't mean I will defend him at all cost.

Ali was WAY more than confident, watch some of his rants. He mocked opponents, and taunted them when he knocked them down. He regularly told other boxers they didn't deserve to be in the ring with him.

Anyway, the opposite of your statement is true. If Sherman was on your team you wouldn't have an issue.

Sherman said what? Crabtree is sorry and mediocre and that he is the best corner in the game. That's exactly the same shit Ali said time and time again, you can't deny it. Is your problem that he yelled? Ali yelled all the time too.

We should quit focusing on Sherman. I don't think the broncos can handle Seattle. My biased opinion. The Seattle secondary combined with the pass rush will force mistakes. Kaepernick was able to exploit some of the weakness in Seattle with the ability to run. Seattle won't have an issue with Manning IMO.

Just to state it. I would prefer Richard say it on the field with his play, I guess I'm intrigued by him though. I really feel like it is all well thought out and planned. They had a professional speaker break it down, the Erin Andrew part. He stares into the camera, etc.

If you didn't read it, the story I linked to a couple pages back, it's pretty incredible talking about why he is the way he is. They interviewed high school coaches, college coaches etc.

I think he got to Seattle, looked around and said, this place needs to attention. It needs life. He felt ignored, by Harbaugh, and then in the draft. We all know Seattle feels ignored.

Just stated that I see the benefit he provides to the team and fan base as a game changer, which allows them to be ok with it. Not all Seahawks fans embrace the super shit talk antics. I know from your posts you aren't encouraging it. Just saying for so many the result justifies the douchery. If he put that energy into the game and thought for half a second before he spoke, the whole nation wouldn't be talking shit about him...he would be a whole class up. I know we are on same thought on this.

He has hella hatred for Harbaugh. I almost wanna ask him, did he touch you... Lmao! He definitely craves the attention... It's dead on. But he is going full Kanyeezy. What happens when he loses his edge, keeps saying I'm the greatest of all time like Randy Moss, even though he didn't hold a candle to Rice, and just ends up a so so half ass good for a 50% effort on any given play. Ego can collapse talent

This dick should go to jail for this move. Funny everyone is butt hurt about what Sherman says immediately after the game....where is the attention to this kind of thing.

Yea if you focus on his feet you can see just how far forward he comes to hit Lane. Curious to see what the NFL does and who that is.

Because until it became a Gif, not everyone saw it. However, most everyone saw Sherman's little cockery.

The team will probably be disciplined/fined too, not just the player. Anything from the sidelines usually lands on the team.
