whats wrong with the dana 44 and a stock rear? it can handle moderate wheeling. it may last longer than an ifs, or it may not. who knows, its a fellow taco owner and we shouldnt be putting other owners down for doing things we have yet to accomplish. We find humor in things, and others may take it the wrong way.

I myself considered 5 lugging my truck with axles off my 79 bronco(and 8 lugging that), but too much work. Dana 60s are hard to find in some places….dana 44s can hold up with the right driving.

There was once a tw member on here, and a guy seen his truck posted and talked about on here from this one other guy on tw(who im not sure knew that the other guy was a member). Yeah, shit doesnt go too well when you talk about someone elses truck in a negative way and they find out about it. Ofcourse the pic of specific members truck wasnt meant to be a negative pic either, just a wtf or funny pic. Just sayin…step into that other guys shoes.

 

Stock rear on blocks and a dana 44 mounted with pizza cutter swampers is not going to be even moderately good at wheeling. The weight of the double taco is too much weight for a 44.
