    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Crossover steering is when your tie rod connects to the passenger knuckle. So there is nothing to compare really. You would be comparing hi steer to mid or low mounted arms. Crossover steering should be the only way you set it up you will be way too tall to just connect your tie rod to the driver side knuckle.

    Well i get that - on high steer the tie rod connects to the high steer arm on top of both passenger and driver side knuckle. And on crossover the tie rod connects to the factory knuckle points, meanwhile your drag link connects to the high steer arm on your passenger side. Is that right?

    dude you still have to have atleast one high steer arm for that to work so best just get the whole high steer set up.. dont eat for a month or two and you should be fine.

    yeah but that's also a few hundred dollars difference - and if there's no steering benefit then i'd rather eat lol

    from reading that - with a descent size lift you want high steer for a flatter tie rod/drag link angle.

    i thought you bought those high steer nuckles?
    so in my opinion youre shooting your self in the foot if you dont do high steer, youre just going to be saving the price of a single high steer arm cuz you still need a dring link and tie rod no matter where youre mounting them.

    i know what youre trying to do and im telling you as your friend just save up and do it the strongest way which is high steering.. trust me!

    3 link you will have limited articulation in relation to doing a 4link. 4 link you have the option of single triangulated or dual. Dual will get you the most but will also cost the most and take the most time to fab. You'll end up having to go full hydro on a dual triangulated rear. I had my buddies YJ rear done in a day where as I fucked with clearing everything up front in about 2-3 days. With that being said his ride height had to then jump up 3" which then changed the rear emulsion mounts I did which cost me more time:mad:.

    I am going to end up running a dual 4 in the rear and a 3 link in the front on my sammi. Just need more money so I can buy more parts.

    Clearing gas tank and oil pan plus full hydro. 3 vs 4 in terms of flex... Its a moot poin if you run a standard 14" or 16" coilover.

    This som bitch is heavy!! I need to do some mods to the furniture dollies so they aren't wanting to rotate all over the place. Might build a pinion support into them too so the axles don't want to roll.
