No nerves have been hit. I'm just overly expressive and explaneous

Says the guy who complained about the burst mode on his samsung being limited by a number of pictures. I can hold that burst FO DAYS :D

I'll take the clunky apple software that i understand very well and have opperated for years over that android crap.

Who the hell needs to take more than 20 pics in one burst?! haha God it would take forever to sort through them to find the ones you watned...

And didn't the latest IOS update basically make IOS very similar to Android?

Yup haha They copied a lot from android. Owned both and like both. Whichever is newer at the time of my upgrade will be what I get.

I just took a burst of 269 just because i could. 269 was when i got tired of holding it down. I don't know how long it will go.

I don't see the resemblence....i'm not exactly a fan of ios7 and its pastel colors. It has quite a few bugs that i've found in only a month and it takes for ever for apple to release updates and patches IMO

Honestly a MAJOR reason for me wanting specifically an iPhone 5s was because of its aluminum body. I think it is stronger and has a better weight to my hand and in my pocket. I also feel it is tougher because it isn't a thin pile of plastic and glass like all samsung smart phones and most other androids. Thats also why i paid the extra $100 for the 5s over the 5c (that and the 5s is supposed to have the fastest processor which i didn't notice between the two in store).

I also don't like the bigger screens. I didn't like when they made the 5 taller but now i love it. I hate the GS4 and the Galaxy note, they are just ridiculous to me. They are too light and seem so flimsy. But i do like that the battery can be removed if shit freezes or acts up. I have had an ipod freeze and remain stuck for a day and a half until the battery died. i was able to plug it in and it began to run normal again. It happens apple is still clunky.

    ramble...ramble...ramble

I love my GS4. Seems perfectly sized to my hand, as for being tough I have never had an issue with any of my phones, but I seem to be more careful than most. I have never even put a case on any of my phones. I love the removable battery for my GS4 and I hate that newer phones are all going away from that... I bought extra batteries and a wall charger for them, so when my phone dies I just swap the battery and throw the dead one on the wall charger. I haven't plugged my phone in a long time!:woot:

    I see the batteries point.

I have to have a case. I have to have an otterbox or a lifeproof on anything i can put them on. I have to have water resistance (preferably WATER PROOF) and that is what the lifeproof yields.

I have little girl hands....i can't hold that slippery samsung (and be trusted not to drop it, or throw it) because it is mas grande. The iphone 5c, dropped that shit a couple times in store. I need texture to items being cradled in the hand for hours a day. The lifeproof has just enough dullness to it that i can hold it comfortably and the rubber on it keeps it from falling out of my pocket.

Another problem, apple accessory prices are pure robbery. Walmart wanted $52 for a usb to lightning cable the last time i looked. That is ridiculous. I got one on Amazon for $17.xx

I thought the nüud one was an interesting idea i just have to have a screen protector because i keep the screen super clean and the case/screen protector takes the brunt of the everyday scratches.

Anyone wake up to this nice powdery snow this morning?

I think this is the third snow here since the start of the cold season. our cold season fluctuates between close to 60 and at one point a few weeks ago it was -1 with a windchill of -22 (coldest i've experienced) and i actually went outside in my underwear just to take it in for a minute....i'll admit, it was pretty ridiculously cold.

Total snowfall this season, not including what is coming down now, is like 5"
Fixin' to at least double that today

It'd sound mediocre to you then that the most snow i've ever experienced was about 34"

That's still a good amount of snow. I know some of our peaks around here get several feet of snow practically year round but unless you have a snowmobile or go hiking you aren't going to see much more than 3-4 ft on a daily basis.

At my parents house when I was growing up a typical winter was about 2 ft of snow in the yard almost all winter long. It's been a few years now since they got that much in the yard...

ya thats a good amount, our last few winters have been pretty mellow. but usually we have like 4-5 feet in the resorts and like 1-2 on the front lawn.
