60+ year old thread.

Bought some strap steel today to fabricate up a couple of "L" brackets to hold LED's behind the grill.


Started research on spotlights behind the grill. Basically there is 2" of space in front of the mounting post and 2" of space behind the mounting post of the lamp. Not a lot of room.

 

Hi Rob, saw the completed job in person yesterday. I like the job he did. Craig does nice work and stands behind his work. Tom now owns a unique and first for Homer Taco...a 5 lug with a Raptor Grill.

CRISPY HUH!
Went out ice fishing today. Should have never bought a shelter and heater. It was so warm in there, I didn't want to get out of it!
One of the guys had a decent crappie and a decent perch, but not too much going on; mostly dinks.

 

Carl: I don't know how you can go ice fishing without a shelter. I saw som guys on Saginaw bay ice fishing in 9 degree weather with 10 mph winds sitting on a cooler and no shelter. It was just too cold for that.

Mornin' Carl, Ken and all.

I'm done trying to figure out or understand the weather this year. We're forecasted in the 30s and even up into the 40s for the rest of the week. Some snow and rain/freezing rain. Feels like Spring thaw; hope it's not just gonna do this for the next 3 months.

I wonder if maybe I'm talking to Bear too much? Grand kids stayed over Sat and Sun night. At one point my three yr old grandson looked at me and with a little bit of concern in his voice said, "Grandpa, dogs can't talk."

Ya'll try and stay warm over there.

 

I can remember back aways a show called "Kids Say The Darndest Things" hosted by Art Linkletter. Everyday our Grandkids prove him right. They make my day...I did lunch with my 10 year old Grandson yesterday. He had off for MLK day and both parents work. It was nice, then home to play video games with him

 

All schools in he area are closed today Ken. Supposed to have snow today. The radar weather shows snow is headed our way.

 

Morning Tom, No snow yet but it's on it's way. Most schools closed but a few are closing at noon.
How the knee and toe?

 

I've sure gotten old!​

I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement,​

new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes​

I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine,​

take 40 different medications that​

make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts.​

Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation;​

hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.​

Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92.​

Have lost all my friends. But, thankfully,​

I still have my Florida driver's license​

Both are doing great Ken. Upped the time on the elliptical machine to 25 minutes today. trying to get to 30 min by Thursday.
