If it has taken you this long to grasp this simple suspension concept I hope to god you never attempt an engine swap
No. Would not make enough difference to Make it worth it.

You should sell the shocks and coils (or return) and just buy a fat bobs kit or something if you are that set on lifting it

    Thanks!

Already have spacers, they've been on it for a damn while now. Should I replace them if I go with the S coils? They're cracked and probably beyond compressed.

"Much"?????? Why the hell would you intentionally jump a vehicle that is in no way shape or form, intended to be "jumped" even the slightest bit? The only reason it should be off the ground without the proper suspension and limit straps is if it's on a lift....a mechanical one.

And why the hell would someone CUT a spring rated at 620lb, down to an acceptable length just so it'll clear the UCA and LCA? Why wouldn't you just buy the right shit to begin with????

Bro chill, I'm a highschool senior with a low asvab score, trying to have fun before I leave for parris island this summer. In the service, depending on where I'm stationed I'll either fully mod this truck or get a powerstroke

Somehow I'm predicting you would/ will buy a 6 liter too........

Good luck in the marines though. Thanks for your intended service.

    Why not?
Good motors once you delete the EGR, put a turbo timer on it, and keep a eye on the EGT's

7.3's are more preferred. Taquito time though, has it been brought to extend the top hat/ section to clear bigger coils? I feel like it could work with the right measurements. I'd probably follow through with UCA's also.

Disregard. Custom tacos members are saying that the v6 springs pick up a reg cab. I'll probably get 1" lift shocks along with them for a smoother ride.. I've seen procomp has some but are there any better ones? PC I've heard are.. Eh. Stiffer than desired

    chirp *

So total setup I'm thinking is the v6 coils, whatever shocks are best, bilstein 1" if I can find/ if they make some (they make for the rear but not sure if fits a 5 lug) where was I.. Coils, then shackles, and depending on how I like the stance I might throw on a 2" bodylift if I'm comfortable with 32's. The truck will be regeared with a locking diff. Perfect. How's it sound guys?

That's highly debatable...from both stand points.

You're forgeting about the head gaskets and injector issues too.

    Honestly OP, I'm not sure

Head gaskets are fine as long as you don't try to mod the engine to much
Injectors go out at about 200k on the cummins to (mainly because of the ultra low sulfur diesel) an the cummins injectors are 3x the cost I the ford.

I think i'll go for it. I know it's extremely unreccomended to stack coil spacers but what if i extended the housing up top so that nothing would be able to get out of whack? My thought would be the v6 coil, 2 coil spacers and a 2" lift shock. Not sure though, that sounds kind of sketchy but can someone good with suspension double up on this? I mean, it looks good in my mind but not sure how it'd actually pan out. I could draw it up to show how far the housing would come down

Also if I went with the extra spacer, I'd probably follow through with aftermarket UCA's. Still not sure though.

Ok again you have no clue how your suspension works do you? If you put shackles on you will end up lowering the rear, if you put blocks in you will lower the rear. To lift the rear you need an add a leaf DESIGNED for your truck, or a new leaf pack.

With your proposed hodge podge lift I don't think you will be able to clear 32s without a 2" body lift so you might be forced to get that regardless. And guarentee people will tell you they are shit....because they are. 1" is the highest bod lift you should ever go, but again I don't think it will be enough.

Then there is the regear and locker...do you know how much that will even cost? Based on your budget concerns I don't think you will like the bill. Regardless of that even if you can afford it I think all of this is a giant waste of time and money that is going to be spent to on a 5 lug taco that was never meant to go off road. It's just stupid and not worth it. The way to do this correctly is to just sell the trucks and buy a 6 lug and start with the correct platform. Then at least when you order parts hahazardly without reading the big bold letters there is a better chance they will actually fit.

Please just stop, really. Your posts are giving me cancer. Absolutely in no way shape or form should you stack spacers. That's fucking stupid and unsafe and I doubt it would even work or fit.
fuck me that explains everything!! Good god
