If you liked them, get them again. They are good tires if you mostly stick to paved roads, they'll even do well in the snow up here.

    X3, in fact.
Like Pugga said, if you liked them, stick with them.
But, if you want something more aggressive, countless folks on here (myself included) will tell you that the Duratracs are a great tire. However, they come at the expense of lower MPG's and a little more road noise.

Best and quietest tire I've found. I don't do any offroad driving but between the Tacoma's 4X4 design and the tires, I trust it to get me anywhere in any type of weather. Great truck, great tires.

A little of this and a little of that.
I also suggest the Michelins again. You didn't mention if you were happy/unhappy with them. There are more aggressive tread tires out there if that's what you're looking for.

The M/S 2 is the newest from Mast Michelin... If you like the M/S, you'll love the M/S 2.

If you're looking to save some coin, the Cooper HTP is a fantastic option as well.

It is a all-terrain tire that is also snow rated.

I have loved mine for about 4 years now

I run them year round, but got them for this:

I just installed the M/S 2's... love them. Had Nokia Vativa's before, no comparison at all. Have been in an inch of snow and tons of rain so far

I would stick with the M/S 2 or the A/T 2 if you want a more aggressive tread, that's what i put on mine and love them.

    Duratracs, Duratracs, Duratracs.

If you need more traction get these. With my business last winter I was driving up steep roads with a small trailer with a snowblower (800 lbs total) in up to 2 feet of snow with out a lot of problems. It was really amazing how well they did.

But you will have to rotate a lot to keep down the noise and will lose on the mpg.

I am moving to a different climate myself and my next tires will be the Michellins.

Stick with the Michelins. No tire is going to wear as good as the m/s.

I think I got close to 60,000miles with 5,000 to 10,000 mile interval rotations. (90% high way )

Michelin makes a subpar snow tire folks. Outside of snow and off-road, it's the best tire you can buy.

Got the MS'2 and they are the best tire for road purposes. I got close to 70K on them and they still have tons of tread left.

I was about to replace my BF Goodies with the M/S2's until my shop said that they no longer carry Michelins. They said that Michelin changed something in their rubber and they have yet to see a new set make it over 25k miles. They don't stay balanced like they used to and they have terrible wear patterns on them.

Now I'm trying to figure out what tire what to replace mine as well...

As a tire dealer, I agree, get the M/S2! Or the A/T2 if you want something a little more aggressive, but they aren't as good of a towing tire as the M/S2.

I think he wants to sell you his brand of tires and i haven't heard of anyone else say that about the newer Michelins, just go to Discount Tire Direct and order them from there if that's the ones you want with no tax and free shipping, and have someone else mount and balance them.
