Take the "other" approach and call Airgas 603-740-9735 and ask them who the "local guys" are...they could save you "Google" & gas $$ time.....

Custom Welding out in Nottingham might be another venue.....

I've bought stock from Novel Ironworks (Portsmouth/Greenland line). They've normally got tons of leftover stock sitting around from various projects.

Good stuff! I work on Pease so Novel is right down the street. I'll have to run over tomorrow at lunch and talk to them. Thanks Chris!

Regarding the other tips, I'll check those out as well Mike and snoope. I'm looking to build some things that others make on here and sell, but I want to try my hand at them. I have the welder and grinders, just need steel. Also will need to find a place to do plasma cutting with a template for some of the plate steel I want to have cut up. I could torch and grind but why when I can pay for clean-cut parts, right?

    Awesome!

Can you post some prices when you find out? I need to build a bench and I don't know of any metal suppliers in my area .

If you know what you need save the trip and call them. Last thing I bought was 2x2 angle. They had it on site so I told him how I wanted it (they cut it to length for me), presto blammo.

I'm in Concord a few times a month. I'm really tempted to pick up a good chop saw and fire up the old Lincoln! That place has a huge selection!!!

Hey thanks for this suggestion. Lous costum exhaust couldnt do it because the mounts are bent and the rivets for the fuel lines are in the way. I showed up at whites welding and he said no problem. He suggested that i dont have them welded to the frame anyway because if he welds them on, theyre never coming off. He told me he could make them bolt on and be just as stiff and sturdy as a weld.

    Bump, everything is OBRO

Toyota all weather floor mats for the rear only $40 (like new condition)

2 - Cooper Discoverer AT3 Tires in P265/70R17. Tires have a LOT of tread left on them, I estimate under 10k miles on them. $160

Full set of black and tan Wet Okole seat covers for a DCSB SR5 w/o seat air bags. I am the second owner of these and purchased the front and rears at different times from different people so the match isn't perfect. The rears have faded in a 'wierd' way, the tan has turned sort of greenish from the sun. They are in perfect condition and come with the center console cover. $200

Plywood platform for the bed of a DCSB. It's hinged in the middle so it's easy to install/remove. Comes with 2 - 2x6 supports and a wood divider that hooks into the plastic cleats. This is perfect for someone with a shell as it allows you to put tools or whatever underneath and still have a flat, level surface for cargo. I've had about 1,000 lbs on this platform, it is sturdy. $30 (basically about 30% less than what it has in it for lumber and hardware)

NFab 4 tab light bar. Overall in good condition, was coated with Rustoleum bedliner when it was new, could use a touch up coat but can be put on as-is. All hardware included. $75

Black mirror covers and motors. No glass, glass was broken when I did my heated mirrors. Spoken for

I need this stuff out of my garage!!!
