    they work well when i'm IN the truck, wouldn't trade them out. It's just something i've learned to live with.

    I pulled up the wiring diagram for your truck. You have 2 separate fuses that control your Body Computer. Check both of them. One is labeled 15A dome. The other is labeled ECU-IG. I am willing to bet the dome light fuse is blown. That would explain why they don't work until the key is turned on.

    Why didn't you install it yourself? If you plan to fab up suspension parts I figured you would be able to weld on an exhaust.

    Are the misalignment spacers on the lower mount 2 different sizes? They were on my old Fox's and you had to put the larger one closest to the cv

    Welp, I just officially ordered some new Level 8 MK6 in bronze (16 inch), and pieced together a 1.5" rear lift (AAL and Bilstein 5100's). Damn I love that feeling!

    holy shit thats bright! ive thought about the LED swap but damn after seeing this and thinking of having to drive at night with these on at some point for a short time. im not sure now.

    i did one of my map lights for this reason. if i need a bright like i turn on the led map light, if im driving and just need a little light i turn on the stock one

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    does anyone else have the problem if your truck isnt turned on then the dome led light is really dim and kind of flickers??
