I have this sticker on my Tacoma, but to the best of my knowledge there isn't one in my truck. Why would Toyota have included the sticker if it wasn't in the truck?

Iirc trd 1st gen Tacoma's had a locking rear diff.

    U no have diff lock?

Also the under 5 mph thing is a safety clause to keep their lawyers happy.

U must engage and disengage at low speed but can drive faster than 5mph just be cautious till u learn how it turns locked

I have a 2012 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and my truck does NOT have that sticker. I've seen that sticker in pictures but mine doesn't have it. I'm not sure why, but I'm OK with it. I don't really want some stupid sticker adorning my door panel!...

Are you the original owner? It is possible there have been repairs to the interior? Maybe the previous owner removed the switch because it wasn't working? Who knows. Just a couple of possible ideas there.

First check to see if you have the actuator hanging off the upper front left side of the rear diff. If you have it and not the switch then maybe your dash was swapped out with the wrong dash? Heck, maybe your door was replaced at one time.

I'm the third owner, the second owner was a family friend and he did extensive research on the truck before he purchased it so to the best of my knowledge nothing like this has been done. At some point an alarm was installed, and the light for the alarm is right where the switch should have been, so i'm wondering if they took the switch out and replaced it with a blank cover/light. I highly doubt it, but it wouldn't be the first time a shop has done something stupid like that.
