    Luke,
Here is a quick schematic for you. I did not include controls for Winch In/Out and for your lockers and retrofit ballasts, I just provided a power lead and ground because I'm not certain how those wire up. But this is a general representation of how the power circuit should look with fuses and relays.

Damn!! That's nice! Hey Luke, where'd you find that pic of the power board with all the relays attached?

Ok, what's the purpose of the relays? Why not go from the switch to the fuse to the component you are powering?

Rather than go through the entire chain of PMs between Luke and I about the purpose and need for fuses and relays, I am just going to leave this here:

I got it now....... You dont want heavy current going through the switch. The switch controls the relays that control the high amperage draw of the component.

I finally understand it but it seems like a lot of effort when you still need the relays.

Really very easy. Just take your time and make a harness that holds all the major wires. In the end it will look very clean and professional.

Well most interior switches are not designed to hold a high current load, like a winch for example....if you are using the winch and the current draw is high it could melt the switch internally causing an electrical fire inside the truck. The winch may use 20 amps but the switch is mostlikely rated and 1 amp and your fuse will need to be 25 amps for protection. Big diffence now that I think about it. Besides if your switch melts internally most likely you will fry all of your electronics like your ECT computer and etc.
