Helldorado is my number 1 this year. Haven't really thought about the rest. Figure I'll just tag along with whoever.

I'm up for whatever. Will be my 1st trip to Moab so will be looking for suggestions and spotters.
All for the more difficult end of things that are within reach if a moderately capable rig.

    ...too much shit to list.
I assure you, your truck will make anything up to an 8 look like a walk in the park.

I know my truck isn't up to that challenge, but I would love to see Someone else do it! I do want to hit some of the BFE trails though this year. Minor threat maybe.
For me (will take advice if I'm biting off more than I can chew):
    1. Hells revenge (never ran)
    2. Cliff hanger (never ran)
    3. Metal masher (never ran, will probably have to bypass a few obstacles)

Oh damn, I forgot about elephant hill! Add that one to mine. I think trifecta is too long for the kiddos. Too much truck time. In a few years though...

X2 on what jberry said. Your truck is good to go on most of the trails. I did hells revenge, top of the world, and seven mile rim without issue last year. I had the smallest tires and least clearance out if everyone there. I did have great armor though! :p

I am down for all of those, but if I do trifecta I want a small group 6-8 trucks max. 14 hours last year was ridiculous and I was only riding along.

Nobody said anything about me attempting Helldorado, well Travis kind of touched it but not really. I highly doubt I am doing Helldorado. Although I guess I already talked about that in here once huh when we were going to put Joe's tires on my rig.... I forget what gets said where sometimes:anonymous:

On the Kiddos thing, Elephant Hill is almost a whole day thing since it is a ways south of Moab, like over an hour drive just to get to the trailhead IIRC.

Debating bout leading Kane, might want to do poison spider into window arch then back out. Makes for a medium long day, but not too bad. Then maybe another day run into golden crack then back out.

The guy who did mine had been doing tattoos for some like 40 years (he actually retired about a year after I got mine). He has pics of him doing like half of the tattoos on the band members of Lynard Skynard. He actually had pics of him doing them in his shop.

This is one of them actually:

Anyway he was pretty much into tattooing purely for business and he charged by the square inch for any print out type tattoos. Both of my armbands were just stenciled on and he just had to trace them and then fill it in. When he printed out the stencil just just put a ruler on it and measured the area of it. Custom work had an hourly rate.

that pretty cool seeing how hes been doing it for so long. I brought in a picture so all he had to do was scan it in on the ink paper, lay it down and was good to start. just sort of agreed on a price and i thought it was fair.

the next one wont be totally custom, i will still have an image to print out, but all of the color and detail shall be a bitch.

    at rock therapy or cruise?

cruise has more attendees (for now) and has structured events and trail runs. but it costs a good chunk of change and sells out quick.

great event tho...went last year, might swing by again this year. lots of awesome trucks. more cruiser based crowds, but there were a handful of tacomas there last year.

i'm not a fan of the large organized trail runs anymore, so i'm partial to our event :D

we're a much more laid back group and less structured. i call this more of a gathering than an event..

we don't charge for registration and we don't have a bunch of "organized" runs...we'll have a few scheduled runs for the major trail runs, but that's in an effort mainly to keep the numbers down and make sure we have experienced leaders helping out with the group. only money we ask for is in an effort to raise money for donation, in return our amazing sponsors bring us great products to raffle off :D
