Well i KNOW you, Dad and I will go revisit this summer pretty much an annual trail for me now. Just too much fun and too close not to go again! plus. we should do a couple others in that area.

I've had a few more chats with that chad guy from Lander who's told me of a few other places. Type this into google maps, one of the areas he said is worth exploring in the same sort of area (said there are some gnarly river crossings back in there). 42° 36.233', -108° 45.515'

ha, it's 45 min from me to that trail head... I could leave home, go in and out of shoshone lake and be home to make dinner haha. Riverton is good for something!

Oh no worries, I'll be contacting you again as well! Like I said, I definitely want to get back to Goose Lake this summer, but hopefully plan on spending at least 2 to 3 days up by the lake doing some hiking. Also spend a little more time at the couple of lakes we pass on the way to Goose

 

Baby Taco....you seriously need to work on getting that lady to pack us into the Bob. It's at least 16 miles in to where we can inflate the packrafts and get on the water, maybe more depending on log jams and or flow on Youngs creek. First week of July would be an ideal time to hit it!

 

Well if she can pack us in, then where we take out we have roughly a 3 - 4 mile hike out to our vehicle when we set up a shuttle. If she can only ride our packs in, then it still shouldn't be that bad of a hike with no packs on our backs. There's minimal elevation gain as the TH is already at elevation and there's only 1 pass we have to go up and over.

because i finally just about have every single damn photo on the first page...so..beware..haha but. It is sweet.


im also bumping this in case some are interested this summer to go on a few of these trails as a few of us will be doing them in small sections over random weekends through the summer. No dates are picked and numbers WILL be limited due to areas. So keep an eye out for meet threads as the time draws nearer to think about making time if you want.

 

Whatever is the longest trip y'all do. I'm in depending on the dates!
