With that power you'll be a lot faster with less travel honestly.

i can see how that would help a bit. im going to strap it at 24 to start with, and go from there. ordering the springs today, then on to figuring out what and if i need to do with my valving.

next is cab cage. then front suspension. then we'll talk motor lol. 3.4 swap is most likely. lots of work to toss in a small block like id like sadly. plus id lose my heat and ac lol. still have both now. and love em.

you gotta double strap it bro! Also, watch some videos of your truck through the whoops. If your straps are breaking without you constantly hucking, you might need to dial in more rebound to keep your front from springing after every whoop and putting excess tension on your limit straps.

Ah a 3.4 SC would be fun no doubt. Probably be plenty of power to get you in plenty of trouble :D haha

no doubt a blown 3.4 would be incredible. and that will go in with very little fab as apposed to a v8.

Straps are just over two years old, lots of trips on them. I'm running my valving pretty much the same as many 1st gens with similar setups. I do need to see some videos fo sho. My valving front n rear are still off a bit. Is anyone running dual straps up front? Not a bad idea.

I was thinking those, but I'm pretty sure mine are 11" and they only come in evens...I do have a clevis mount so might be able to fit something.

would be cool, but if im going chevy, im going ls. do it once, and never again. chances are slim to none that ill do a beast like that though. way too many other things need to happen to make that legitimate.

Anyone know where I could possibly get one of these? All pro wants $29 and I don't want to pay that if I don't have too.
    Thanks

That bolt is proprietary to the AP Long travel HD steering kit. Only source I know of is direct through AP
