None at this time and that's just what I wanted a stock used truck to start with
Has anyone payed Toyota to perform there 130 point inspection on a used truck before they bought it. They want about 125 bucks. Is it worth it ? Has any body else had this done ?

you are buying it from them? and they want to inspect it before selling?

i would tell them that they should inspect ALL vehicles they are selling

(there was another thread that a dealer inspected a forum members truck to have part of the frame rot out in less then a year, so who knows if they will actually "check" anything)

Then yeah i would have it inspected by Toyota
or you can personally check the high priority issues on a Tacoma to make sure its all in check

Sounds like something the next buyer would pay for and would be rolled into the price of the vehicle. Are they going to sell it as a certified pre owned?

I would tell them to go fly a kite, certified pre owned is a nice piece of mind for the buyer but, I wonder how well they actually do these inspections. Case in point when I purchased my CPO Toyota from the Toyota Dealer, the 4x4 is supposed to be checked and mine never was when I needed to use the 4x4 it did not work. Took it to another dealer and the switch was unplugged behind the dash. Paperwork said it was checked and and was functional.

Are you buying it from the Dealer that wants to charge you $125 ... or are you wanting them to inspect it before you buy it from another private party?

If you are buying it from the Dealership they "should have" already performed that inspection to determine if they could sell it as a "Toyota Certified Used Vehicle". If otherwise, $125 seems like a lot of money for an inspection.

    Just my thoughts.

The truck I want to buy is at a dodge dealership I called Toyota and they said they could do a 130 point inspection for $125 that's something I want done and am willing to pay for. I would love to take it home to check it out but I'm an hour away I don't think they would like that
