since this thread just made think of it... is the lowest allowable tint level still like 33% or something like that in AZ?

 

It is whatever you want in the back 35 in the front doors and no windshield tint but I have lower than that and no one says shit


Oh and the truck just got dropped off for repairs

My front windows are at 20% and never had an issue

 

Im at 20 on my rears and about a 25 I believe in the fronts. And you can do the windshield but it can only be the strip at thr top. Cant do the entire thing.

 

You can do whatever you want, it's up to the cop on whether or not he wants to give you a fix it ticket. I ended up paying the fine and kept my tint the way it was for when that Scottsdale douche pulled me over years ago. Thought he was hot shit in a fine wine glass cuz he was on the beat in the Bronx, after I spoke to the judge about it he was cool ranch in styrofoam cup.

 

I have limo on the back doors, and rear slider, 20% on the fronts, and have never been hassled

Yes that's true. And i have actually only seen one guy actually pulled over for tint. Phx sun you should allow a pretty fucking dark tint. But oh well . I like your description of the officer.

 

For the dents to the cab? Are they smoking crack?

 

The dents on the roof they have to drop the headliner and try to pop the dents out then the paint will crack so they have to repair that and blend it then they have to pull the bedside and try to pop that out it is also going to crack and they have to paint and blend that Then they have to weld a tab to that bottom dent and pull it the door isn't really aligned so they have to do that then paint and blend it a lot of hours

I rolled my passenger window down when I got pulled assuming he would take the safe side, instead of being in oncoming traffic, as I could not pull over at a safe enough area at the time. He didn, he cam drivers side, so I rolled that down, gave me a ticket for speeding, came back with his little gizmo, gave me this speech about working the beat in the Bronx and how dark tint always scared him as he could not see who was behind it. Handed me the fix it ticket with which I replied, 'guess you were glad I preemptively rolled my window down here in sunny Arizona'. He didn find it as amusing as I did. O well judge was an old timer native and was totally chill about it.

 

Dude that figure is bullshit. Find another guy to do a quote. Send me detailed pictures and i can forward them to my PDR buddy in Texas and see what he thinks about it.

I'll help you pull the headliner if you want to save time on them... it takes like 10min

 

Yeah well that's getting it done it's already dropped off on the advice of my agent I made a comprehensive claim
