    My youngest son said he wanted to see Centralia, so I figure I do that on Saturday for a little while then head over to the whaleback area, bit we will definitely camp, maybe at that squatter spot we found.

    Hey man, I saw that you have the 5100s with 885x coils. I have them also but haven't had time to put them in. Did you try installing them without the top spacers to see how much of a lift you got?

    That's how they were originally, I put the top spacers in later. I had 2.5" lift with out the spacers, now I have 3"

    I personally wouldn't do it to mine, but I think others have. I think there was a Houston guy with a single cab that did it and busted his shock, but that may have been a fluke. But still, those OME springs have alot of stored energy in them, so if you do decide on putting them at the
    85 setting, just know the risk.

    good to know! thanks man, i think I will try the 0 setting first...some people said they got a 2.75'' lift which is what I want, thats prob before it settles though

    I bought mine slightly used too, so they were already broken in.

    Sweet. We were just talking about it in another thread. Hopefully I'll have the AK conversion done (or not started) by then. Is shooting there like totally legal? forgive my ignorance, but where I'm from in NJ the only place you can shoot is a range. Private land is even sketchy since there are so many damn people.
