    Thats cause Indiana is shit at clearing snow. Friday night whenever it dumped real quick I saw a truck with it's plow up just salting away...mind you cars were driving on snow not touching pavement.

    It's safer to not plow roads sometimes. If they plow it off it leaves ice. There's more traction with snow on it. And depending on temperature salt doesn't work. When it gets real cold they don't use much salt because it melts the snow quick then it freezes again and te road turns to a skating rink. My mom plowed snow for 16 years before she retired from PENNDOT
