Honestly, I find its mostly drivers with red lettered license plates who bring their bad habits over from east of the Rockies.

Well aince your catching so much flak from other members may i suggeat cruisin offroAd for a plate bumper? Hes a month or two out but Canadian and good stuff. I am the first person to understand not everyone can afford two sets of tires. But also may be the last person to talk:/ . Hooe its not to pricey to fix best of luck fellow Bertaian

Yeah, I admit, I was following too close. I should have backed off, knowing there was an intersection about 500 ft down the road. I'll take the flak. I just wanted to share so others can learn. As for the tires, the Deuler Revo 2's have been good. My fault.

I SAID THE SAME THING... I remember the bs i went through to get mine working and damn if those broke i'd be pissed, screw everything else..

 

Next time put it 4WD. Because the front and rear axles are mechanically linked, the rear wheels are less likely to break loose on their own.

 

I always wonder how something like this would effect my truck and bumper. Hope I never find out though.

The bumper shell is plastic and can't take any crash forces. At cold temperatures the plastic is brittle and cracks easily. The aluminum rectangular-section beam inside the shell is the real bumper. It likely wasn't damaged in ZMan2k2's truck.

 

Good for you, learning the hard way sucks, but it beats not learning from one's mistakes at all. Been there, done that. The good thing, the damage is the sort that looks worse than it is, hope you get it fixed up quickly.
