    A bit urgent... I was set on buying a used 2010 plain Jane AC V6 auto, private party
    72,000 mi
    17K bucks
    some questions marksabout regular maintenance...

    Then a used 2012 came on at local dealer, same body
    9500 mi
    20,800 bucks

    Confused, WHICH one to buy..????

    (I can afford the higher price)

    Without seeing pics I can tell you I would go with the 2012 with helluva less miles for only $3K difference in price.

    warranty and miles alone are well worth the 3000.00 difference.

    low miles is a large benefit as is the warranty.

    drive both before u make a decision.... make sure to get on the freeway and/or find some kind of grade.

    No really, I think.

    Seasonal towing of 2000 lbs (total) boat rig, over 12 flat miles max.
    Moving furniture, wood chips, some compost, junk.

    4cyl. is perfect for that. make sure you look the frames over in your area aswell, rust is a problem if not taken care of early. buy the 2012 and under coat it.

    4cyl auto with 2000lbs behind it for 12 miles. I'll pass and hold out for a 6cyl auto. Dbl cab. Longbed since you use your bed alot.You can find a nice one with a $20k budget.

    2012 4banger...i had the 2.7 in my 99,gas mileage was not it's strong suit,even thou it's big for a 4 banger,i had to beat on mine for highway passing,that never pleased me.don't get stuck on a particular truck..they sell them everyday...not much difference in gas milage between the 2.7 and 4.0

    Well, it is done, four-banger it is!

    I took it on the highway, and it is OK with my driving style, I think.
    Wife likes it.

    The towing will be on backroads, and my "12 miles" is a bit of a stretch, as water is like 4 miles away, everywhere you look where the truck will live... it ain't big country up here!
