I have never used anything but a regular H buffer. I have had no problems with a 10.5" pistol, and a mid length both DI. I think a lot of people over think this stuff.

People like to spend money on guns and trucks. other smart people have figured this out and make products to accesorize their guns/trucks and make lots of money doing so.

Then you have people who buy goofy or expensive stuff that they dont really "need" but will argue till they're blue in the face trying to justify it.

upper is all i have left to get at this point. planning on getting a PSA branded complete upper w/ tax money. i know i want a 1/7 twist, but still trying to decide on barrel length. i dont plan on any CQC with it, but at the distances to shoot around me, i think a 16 would be fine.

I like my 18'', it also has a 3'' flash hider on it, and with the stock collapsed all the way it is just tall enough to be put in a slot in the safe, vs my dads 16'', which isn't tall enough to "grab" the slots in the safe, even with the stock fully extended, hence it's leaned in the corner of my safe, where it's not as accessible.

If i went with a barrel shorter than 18 i'd go with a 14.5 and pinned and welded flash hider.
Or just go SBR once i've got the paperwork.

I had this problem also with some of my rifles, my solution was to put a couple of cases of shotgun shells on the floor of the safe, and voila they fit the slots.

I hear ya... I bought an assembled upper and had to send it to the gunsmith to have the muzzle device swapped out and the bayonet lug removed.

Got a question for you guys with acogs. I have a chance to get a surplus acog for a good price, it is fully functional and ready to rock....just been over in the sandbox from my understanding.

I currently have a leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x and can't decide if I should go with the acog or not. Was y'all's worth it?

Heres my newest purchase. Its a Bushmaster BR-308 MOE. All what you see here came on it minus the Burris MTAC 1.5-6X and the Burris PEPR mount.

This thing is super fun to shoot. Makes my 5.56 AR feel like a toy.

Soon the whole handguard and gas block will be getting replaced with a low pro gas block and a daniel defense 7.62 rifle length lite rail.
