question guys, would it be in my best interest to get after market suspension (Icons, TC UCAs, etc.) to support a BruteForce Fab front bumper, or could I just use my factory suspension (which is still on atm)?

im gonna try to get the hybrid with headlight guards and giant stinger hoop, and I was thinkin about it and I was really kinda wanting to get the bumper, but wasnt sure if the factory suspension would good enough to mount the bumper on

 

im thinking you need to upgrade suspension before you get a bumper, to deal with the extra weight.

 

A few things but I'm still deciding. Probably gonna use a tiregate.

 

it's probably not absolutely necessary to get upgraded suspension, but i would certainly recommend it. that's been my order of operations anyway

 

X2 you're gonna need better suspension with a bumper like that or you're gonna sag up front and hitting a bump with that much weight up front is gonna suck on stock suspension

 

My version of the hybrid is about 90 Lbs, not sure how much more the headlight guards and crazy stinger hoop would add, but most likely your current suspension would handle it just fine. Now, adding more to it, like a winch, might be pushing it. Mine with the winch is upwards of 200 Lbs. Plus lights and accessories, I'm sure I'm over 200 total. BUT knowing that, it only dropped my front end by 1/2 inch.

 

what's he going to benefit from more? an upgraded suspension that might help prevent getting stuck or a bumper that looks cool? function > form ya'll

Thats why I'm gonna go with the Icons and king coils. this way I can adjust to the weight of a bumper

make sure you get a measurement before you add the COs, i didnt and i have no idea how much lift i added to my truck. i think just based on cv angles I was up around 4-4.25 in of lift...
