He's asking 4500, ball him for 4k, leaves you with 3300, That's a 2RZ, linked front and rear, and cage. Only thing you would be less is axles...... IDK, I know how to do all this shit, but now a days I'd rather just pay someone to do it or as these rigs never keep there value should have just bought something already built. Either way I digress, back to the SAS talk.

What I shoulda done was start from scratch or just build a buggy. :D :anonymous:

In regards to the cage, guess what? I'm thinking I'm gonna cut off more of the cab.

The cab is currently welded to the body mount with pieces of scrap 1/4" plate and 2"od x 1/4" wall DOM. The body mount is in the most ideal location for the cage terminal end. Problem is-

I can't do a doubler plate setup with the way it is now.
So I'm thinking the best route will be to cut the body mount completely off and allow the cage run straight down the A pillar and to the frame.

    Frame would be the best.

Holly hell.. my est. cost spread sheat is 5K to get the axles under the truck with full hydro steering 3 link front and leafs rear, then 3,400 to regear and lock with ARB's, then 4,500 to put in a 4 speed atlas and drive lines.. from there ill wheel the piss out of it and probably end up puting in some RCV's in it. thats the plan for now.. i never include the cost of tires or rims

    so 13 K

no that's part of the truck as are the switch's and lines to.

Compressor doesnt come with the arb's and the switchs and lines are already in the truck so im not taking those out. not that they cost that much by them selves anyways.

this thread has kinda scared me about doing a swap because of the money factor. i know you guys are buying the good stuff but still its pricey.im thinking about finding an 01-04 SAS DD that i can buy and sell my truck to offset the cost
