 just cuz you live near him doesn't make his sliders any better, but I guess that eliminates the shipping damages if you Cali guys all go suck Jerry's nuts while he welds them on for you. Also based on the votes on this thread (bamf and Allpro) in the lead, it's quite apparent you fuckchops never wheeled hard enough to break anything.

I should have mentioned this. Figure out what you plan on running for a Tcase skid before! you order sliders. I think TG has the best 1st gen skidplate on the market bar none. However my sliders mount the the same spot. So I have to chop a leg off and move it more work but it needs to be done.

    Lol, seriously

Also, OP can start a damn "will this tire fit" thread for all I care and I would still offer advice and not reply with "try searching", that's whack.

Bama, I've seen relentless fab and BAMF sliders and am also in the market. I voted other because I feel Eddy with SOS concepts deserves some recognition as well, and he will be getting my money if I can get my hands on some before hand, otherwise, the other two I mentioned are fine products that you will not be disappointed with.

N.J. B.S. Thread must be getting too small

I have BAMF sliders on my 4Runner.

The only problems I had with BAMF was the shipping time. Ordered them as bolt-on in November and was told that by the time he got to me on the Group Buy list he would have had a bolt-on option for the 4th gen 4Runner. By the time my place on the list came around he still didn't have a bolt-on option. After a few months of waiting he informed me that he couldn't do a bolt on option because he didn't feel that he could do it without copying someone else's design, which I respect.

In the end I ended up with a set of weld-on sliders that arrived in May. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't go with BAMF only because they don't offer a bolt-on option like I originally ordered.

However, Jerry makes a top notch product and I would definitely consider them on future vehicles.

Bill, just decide if you want your sliders in 4 weeks or 4 months and then pull the trigger. Happy wheeling!

Sorry Bob, I am outta this thread, as I can see my point has been made and not taken by many.

People ask for opinions/recommendations and then can't handle the answers

    Done and done!

    .
Bill, I cannot speak to other vendors here but I can speak to Jerry's products, yes I am his friend and have helped out around his shop from time to time. I've been in his shop plenty of times, seen his work up close and personal, the steel he uses is good quality, his welding is up to par, he has the right equipment and a well equipped shop for a small operation. I helped him cut his own 1st gen into pieces when he did his SAS. He didn't CAD any of the overall design, he just fabbed up totally new front frame and totally new rear frame, he understands his craft.
Yes of course all of us local guys have his products and yes we do swear by them, but not by friendship, they really are as advertised. Some of us truly abuse these sliders in terrible horrible ways. I have not heard nor have I seen any of his products as having been broken with 'normal' abuse. I would contend that the amount of abuse it would take to break one of his hybrid sliders would also be the kind of force that would grievously damage your truck, like bend the frame. Much more force than mere damage to a kick panel.
Yes his turnaround time can take longer, you run a shop, you understand the equation Bill, you can't put on too much staff on unless you know for sure you are always going to have the business and besides, it's hard to find good welders so Jerry makes do with himself and the guys he has.
IMO, get the weld-on PC w/kicks.
just my .02, hope this helps

I may or may not have had a hand in those sliders. I don't remember all the tack wells I've done! :D

Don't get me wrong, I love my BAMF sliders, but knowing I'm eventually gonna trade this in on a 4x4 I wish they were bolt-on
