X2 even if I don't fill a card up (from what I've read, you shouldn't anyway), I always put in a new card at halftime.

This. I use 32gb sandisk extreme mostly. But I have them because I shoot video too, rarely is there more than 300 shots on a card unless I'm at an event I have about 1000+

And you kinda have an easier chance to misplace a card when swapping but I have 2 lol.

After a conversation with a coworker talking about our first cameras I thought it would be fun to ask.
    What was your first camera?
I remember mine was a Kodak 110 and I remember my parents letting me have the camera all the time, but rarely putting film in it. lol.

my first cam was a Canon Powershot a520. Actually a great camera! That was back in 2005, it just broke this last year... Had to get another Canon so I got a 60D :D I did have a fuji s4500 for a while between the 520 and 60D but was not impressed.

I had a cheap point and shoot sony. I just took pics with it on vacation and stuff. Then just picked up my Olympus E-PM2 about 3 weeks ago!! Been loving it and learning a lot! Just a little guy and nothing fancy but plenty of camera for me so far. Looking to pick up some lenses ASAP!

Here is another shot I got from last weekend. Really the only part in this shot that is still standing is the vault that was in the bank, inside the old Hotel. It was supposed to have been pretty impressive. 50 rooms and 30 bathrooms. The hotel was built in 1911 and closed in 1913. The lack of water shut the town down.

Here is a shot taken of the old school. The arch I posted is the main entrance.

It is a very cool place. I had heard about it, but never been out there, but our second wedding photographer (long story) took us out there and got some shots of my wife and I. They were really cool.
