New to the forums and having a hard time deciding on seat covers. I'm stuck between wet okole and sportsman seat covers. I like the look of the wet okoles but since I live in south florida, I'm afraid the seat will be way too hot. I've read that the sportsman camo seats are a more breathable material so I'm leaning more towards that. If any members have experience with both I would like to hear your opinions. Also how well do they hold up to saltwater and mud?

First, welcome to the forums. Second, i don't have any experience with seat covers but I'll wager that the search function can point you in the right direction!

Thanks. I've searched the forum a bit but haven't come across a good comparison between the two. The sportsman camo seats claim to be water resistant and want to see if anybody has any experience with these and water.

just ordered the coverkings from WalMart.com they are the neosupreme & were $99/row. Sam's has the same on-line @ $90/Row ( my bad for not checking) Costco online has a similar neoprene offering from coverking but not a costco member so could not get pricing

The coverkings look good but I think I read somewhere on here I think that the neosupreme material tends to wear really fast and even tear in some areas. Anybody with experience with these?

Can't speak to comparison I guess, but I had Wet Okole seat covers on my D-90 and they were legit. They were hot (but then again it was a soft top without A/C), so in a tacoma with the A/C running I wouldn't worry about it. They are well made and best of all you don't have to worry about getting in wet, dirty, whatever. Pretty much a wetsuit for your seats. Highly recommend them if you've got the extra cash,

Had wet ok okoles in my old tundra. Definitely a high quality product but they were really hot, especially in the Texas heat.

I had Coverkings in my 2004 Matrix ( Daily Driver ) for 8 years and they still looked new and had held up very well.

In my opinion they are just as good as the Wet Okole Covers which is what I have in the Tacoma. A lot cheaper too.

Been looking those up. They almost look factory. Anyone have experience with their PVC material or leather?
