Just because I am a vendor does not mean I know every other vendor, and their products. That is part of why I created this thread: To find out which vendors offer the best sliders. You can think all you want about my search habits.

Thanks for the input. I have heard of them but don't know much about them.

Great input, thanks. I have seen your posts and I will say I haven't seen you intentionally steer someone wrong.....At least I haven't SEEN it. lol.

    Pretty solid it seems.

I think overall many of those who build sliders make some good ones. I guess a lot will have to roll down at this point for cost, build time, shipping cost and time, as well as any mods. I really do want to get a cover plate on top of the rear kickout. That is an important mod that I want. I want that step.

If it's just based off lead time and price, I'd go with 4xInnovations.

I don't think I'd want a cover plate on my kickout, it would cause it to be more slippery from mud or rain. The tube for the kickout is better in my opinion because the indent of your shoe fits perfect and gives you stable footing.

Mine took a while too however... Running a 5th Gen 4R TE and being local to Jerry but having diff schedules was difficult to get in there and get them built out. Hand it to Jerry though, he's slammed with work and you don't want to interfere with his business. Finally got mine sized up and built out after god knows how long but I'll say... BAMF design but built by me is a pretty good feeling. I'm confident in their sturdiness.

I agree 100% However, It's something to take into consideration when planning to take your truck on a big trip. I'm very happy with the product but not so much the lead time

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I totally agree I hated waiting 16 weeks for my axle shafts when building my truck I missed a big trip because of it. We are working on lead times by next month we will have sliders in stock and ready to ship. We are 2 months in to the Thanksgiving sale and have 65 out of the 85 sets done and shipped or ready to be shipped. It's tough to keep sliders in stock orders come in faster then we can build them and we were getting backed up. one of the reasons I invested in a computer programmable tube bender. Buildings over 200 sets a year with a air over hydro bender just wasn't cutting it.

I see your point. The cheese grate filler though as mentioned by 95 taco below is what I was looking at. And I only want it to cover the rear opening at the kickout.

Yeah, that is what I was looking at. See above.

I think a lot of this with the time delays is looked at differently by both sides of the coin. You have vendors who deal with and know the intricate issues with parts suppliers, build time, custom changes to orders, etc. Then you have the consumer who is still used to buying from Amazon and Best Buy online, where the item is usually already in the warehouse and ready to ship. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that all consumers do not understand the things a vendor deals with on a daily basis, but I think sometimes when you order something you get the initial "Ready in 6 weeks" promise, but over the next 6 weeks this problem and that problem crop up on the orders that were already in, and the next thing you know your 6 weeks has grown into 12 or 18.

For me it is not so much a concern about build time as it is value (Quality, strength, durability, etc) for my money, and the type of interaction I have with the person I am buying from. Hell I have had my fair share of issues with getting my wheel bearings out and I know how pissed off I was that I had to keep telling people that I was trying to get THEIRS out as fast as possible, while still honoring the other orders. Worst time was when a huge order got stuck in customs for 2 weeks! That really screwed with my time tables.

But getting back to the point here, I am most interested in the sliders themselves, not the delivery time. I'll just keep to the trails where I don't have to worry about sliders until then! lol. Sad thing is I have had some people I truly trust PM me and tell me about issues with some. It makes it tough to decide because I had thought I had it narrowed down to mostly BAMF and 4X innovations, but now I am looking at the All-Pro and CBI as well. Man this sucks! hahaha. All have great looking products.
