    well, I made a poor choice. parked under a tree last night. good half inch of solid ice on some parts of the truck. I can't open any of the doors. standing here, holding the propane heater to the door edges......

    The front half of my truck sticks out of the carport, so mine was iced up as well. I just ran cold water over it. Worked like a charm. The GF's car was completely exposed and the same water trick did the job.
