I can't help that I like active threads. NE is too slow. I used to like the Houston BS thread but bewbs brought that down

The only reason I ended up on TW was when I accidentally ordered 5100's for a taco instead of my 4R. Met cool dudes in NE and decided it was much more entertaining than T4R.

5w-30 and I like the longevity of castroil. Royal Purple too, if you're gonna spend your life savings for 5,000 miles of lubrication..

Yeah it's 5w-30 for the 1GR-FE

 

Question, why you going for non synthetic? If memory serves my 2tr is rated for 5w-20, however I put 5w-30 castrol syntec in it. Get about 10-12k between changes on it without issue. 5w-30 should work fine on the 1gr.
