    Just the norm skids, sliders, & 35's
    Uwharrie will open March 28th. Usually it doesn't open till April but the Rangers are opening it a couple days sooner. If you are free this weekend they are having the first workday of the year. Snappy one of the head volunteers is provide food for everybody after the workday at about 3. If you like to go meet at the hunt camp at the main entrance at 9am.

    Just the norm skids, sliders, & 35's
    During the down season you can not camp but the work depends on the day. Can vary from installing guard rail (wooden and steel), blocking bypasses with dead fall, fixing bridges, and picking up trash(more of a summer time thing). Mainly manual labor.

    That's a bummer that we can't camp. I would love to come out and help for the weekend but I wouldn't want to drive back and forth.

    It's a possibility that you might be able to camp at the UORTC across the street from the outpost. I'd have to ask Scott if he would allow it or not. He has before on 2 day workdays. I can ask him this weekend if I can remember.
