When I got into my accident they said that they total if the damage is 1/3 the blue book value of the vehicle. That is if it is older than 10 or 15 years. Forgot which one it is.

If I got in a wreck it would have covered the cost of anything that is damaged other than my truck. They only would do liability because the truck wouldn't be worth the cost of fixing it.

exactly. liability covers everything but your vehicle. but im still surprised.

who cares if its worth the cost of fixing it, theyd still have to payout the value of the truck with full coverage. (which im sure would have been 1-2k easily)

Yeah, they wouldn't pay for repairs with a deductible. Repairs would be out of pocket but if it was totaled they'd pay what it was worth.

IIRC liability just covers your ass if you're at fault in an accident. Comprehensive covers your vehicle in an at fault accident and if it gets totaled. I've wrecked a few vehicles and have had a few wrecked for me so that's how I learned hahaha

Doesnt look cold enough to freeze anything. Show them to the defroster.

I have Liability and comprehensive. I think comp is 30 bucks a month for me.
