Not bad Jim. Hope they have a 10X10 squares pool going for the game.

Sorry for your loss, Charlie. It's never easy losing a family member. We had to help our 15 year old Lab cross a few years ago - and I still miss her every day. We've got one 10 year old Lab and a 3 year old now - they are really members of the family and I hate thinking that the time will come when we'll have to help them cross, too. But, as hard as that is, the love and joy they give use while we have them with us is worth the pain of the loss, I think.

    Afternoon all:
Feel your pain on the pets. I've had a few dogs, and it's always sad to lose them.
Now it's kitties, and I miss my little outside buddy that always came to greet me. It really ticks me off that a coyote probably had her, and 3 others, for lunch. I haven't seen any of the "visitor" cats that were around either.
Last count was 8 coyotes shot in the area, but don't know if that's accurate.
Bought the caller, and didn't go out yet; THERES MORE OUT THERE!

    Good morning all.

Yesterday sucked big time. Went to pick my son up from school, when I returned a water shut off valve had burst in the living room wall. So far just carpet damage but I expect drywall damage as well.

Called the plumber and had the valve replaced and also the outside faucet. Seems that when the previous plumber had replaced a very old faucet it was angled upwards not downwards towards the ground. Called the insurance company and they will be out this morning at 11:30. Also called a water mediation company and waiting for them to call me back. Blotted up as much of the water as I could with towels and moved the furniture away from the wet carpet. Placed a heater fan towards the opening in the wall and turned it on. I actually had a opening cut out for the cut off valve. When I opened it up yesterday water was squirting out.

I have a $250 deductible home owners policy and already exceeded that with the plumber. LOL This is a lot better than it could have been.

I will update this later on today.

What a crazy business water restoration must be. I am working with 2 companies and both have me on a wait list.

Insurance company was out already and gave me a check. I need to schedule the trades in here to do the work. Plumber was easy and done. Trying to get a water clean up company out here on the other hand is proving to be a challenge.

    Charles:
I think your mean Servpro. I checked and the reviews were all over the place. I would need to talk to a friend that actually used the local Servpro.

Coyotes are unbelievably common here in NW Pennsylvania. Some of the Sports clubs organize winter Coyote hunts. Prizes for largest, most, etc. I've never seen one, but I am sure there are Mountain Lions in PA, although the PA "Game Commission" denies it. Too many reputable people have seen them.
